Before you start: what Odds Coach is and is not
Odds Coach is an analysis and coaching layer for prediction markets, primarily Polymarket. It does four things: it compares an AI probability estimate against the market price, it explains the risks behind that estimate, it suggests a stake sized to your bankroll, and it reviews each bet after it settles so you can improve your process. Odds Coach is not a broker, an exchange, or a wallet. It never places a bet, never holds or moves money, and never connects to your Polymarket account. Every trade is opened and placed by you, on Polymarket itself. To place real trades you need three things that live outside Odds Coach: a Polymarket account, a self-custody crypto wallet, and USDC to trade with. Setting those up is your responsibility, and prediction markets are not legal everywhere — check your own jurisdiction first. If you only want to learn, you can use Odds Coach to study markets and follow outcomes without ever betting real money.
Getting Started
Getting started with Odds Coach
Before anything else, read “Before you start” above so you know what Odds Coach does and does not do, and what you need outside the app. Then: Odds Coach helps you approach prediction markets with more structure. Start from the dashboard, where highlighted opportunities are surfaced for you. For any market, review the market probability, compare it with the AI probability, read the risk notes, check the confidence level, and only then decide whether the position fits your bankroll and your personal rules. Nothing in the product is an instruction to trade — it is information to help you make your own informed decision.
Getting Started
Reading the dashboard
The dashboard is your home base. It shows highlighted markets, your tracked positions, and quick access to research. Each market card summarises the essentials at a glance: the implied market probability, the AI probability, the estimated edge, and a confidence label. Use the dashboard to scan for situations worth a closer look, then open a market to see the full analysis before making any decision.
Understanding Markets
Market probability vs AI probability
Two numbers sit at the centre of every analysis. The market probability is what the current contract price implies — the crowd's view. The AI probability is Odds Coach's independent estimate based on structured reasoning. When they agree, the market looks efficiently priced. When they disagree, that gap is where a potential edge lives — but a gap is a question, not an answer. Always ask why the two numbers differ before acting on the difference.
Understanding Markets
Understanding edge and confidence
Edge is the gap between the AI probability and the market probability, expressed as a potential mispricing in your favour. Confidence — Low, Medium, Medium-High, or High — tells you how much weight to place on that edge for this specific market. A large edge at low confidence is very different from a small edge at high confidence. Read them together: confidence tells you how seriously to take the edge.
Understanding Markets
Risk notes: what can break the thesis
Every market analysis includes risk notes — the specific factors that could invalidate the reasoning. These might be an upcoming event, thin liquidity, dependence on a single data source, or a scenario the model may be underweighting. Reading the risk notes is often more valuable than reading the headline probability, because they tell you what to watch and what would make you change your mind.
Bankroll
Recommended stake and bankroll discipline
When an edge is present, Odds Coach can suggest a recommended stake as a fraction of your bankroll. This is a discipline signal, not a command. The idea is to size positions so that no single trade can seriously damage your bankroll, and so that your staking is proportional to your edge and confidence rather than to your emotions. Always adjust the suggestion to your own risk tolerance and legal situation.
Credits
Credits and AI-powered search
Credits pay for premium, AI-powered research inside the product. A standard search costs 1 credit. New accounts start with a small welcome balance, and you can add credits through one-time packages or a monthly subscription. Buying credits requires a verified email so receipts and invoices reach you reliably. Your balance is calculated from your complete credit ledger and is always visible in the app. There is no daily cap on paid searches — you can spend as many credits per day as you have. There are two separate ways to keep your balance topped up, and they work independently — run either one, both, or neither. A monthly subscription grants a fixed batch of credits each billing cycle. Auto top-up sits underneath it as a safety net: when your balance falls to a threshold you choose, it re-buys the pack you selected, so a long session never stops halfway once the monthly allowance is spent. Setting one up, or cancelling it, has no effect on the other. The only thing they share is the card on file, which stays saved while either one is still using it and is removed as soon as neither is.
Account
Usage limits and fair use
Odds Coach keeps a few sensible limits so the service stays fast and reliable for everyone. Paid AI-powered searches are limited only by your credit balance — there is no daily cap, so you can research as much as your credits allow. Free features, such as the Help Wizard and post-position analysis, have a generous daily fair-use allowance per account. A small number of sensitive actions — such as requesting an email verification code, or asking the public Help Wizard repeatedly in a short time — are rate-limited to prevent abuse; if you ever see a "please slow down" message, simply wait a short while and try again. Ordinary use never runs into these limits.
Coaching
Post-mortems: learning from closed positions
When a position closes, the post-mortem reviews what happened. It compares your original thesis with the final outcome, separates process quality from luck, and identifies which assumptions were correct, which risks mattered, and what lesson to carry forward. Over many trades this builds a feedback loop that helps you understand your own patterns, strengths, and recurring mistakes.
Coaching
The Coach Report and Coach Score
The Coach Report gathers your decisions into a longer-term view of how you trade, and the Coach Score distils that into a single measure of process quality. Because good decisions can still lose to variance, the Coach Score deliberately rewards sound reasoning and discipline rather than short-term results. Use it to track whether your process is improving, independent of any single win or loss.
Features
Auto-Pilot: advisory action plan, not autonomous trading
Auto-Pilot (part of the Auto-Pilot subscription tier) is fully advisory and always will be — Odds Coach will never place a bet on your behalf. It reads the markets already analysed elsewhere in the app, applies the risk rules you configure (bankroll, max stake per position, minimum edge, minimum confidence, categories, cadence), and produces a ranked, pre-sized shortlist of suggestions. You still open each market on Polymarket and place the trade yourself; "Track it" only records that you did, for your own Coach Report. This is a deliberate, permanent design choice, not a placeholder for a future automated-trading feature — Odds Coach never touches your funds or wallet.
Account
Verifying your email and managing your account
Some actions, such as buying credits, require a verified contact email. Odds Coach sends a short verification code to your address; entering it confirms the email and unlocks checkout. For security, verification codes expire, and repeated incorrect attempts are temporarily locked out. You can manage your wallet address and other preferences from your profile.
Responsible Trading
Responsible trading with Odds Coach
Odds Coach exists to support informed decisions, not to encourage gambling. Prediction markets carry real risk, and you can lose your entire stake. The tool provides analysis, risk signals, bankroll guidance, and structured review — but it never promises an outcome and never trades for you. Use it to understand what you are doing before you take risk, and never stake money you cannot afford to lose.
Screen by Screen
Navigation and layout
Odds Coach is organised around a left sidebar (on desktop) or a bottom bar (on mobile) that links the main screens: Dashboard, Explore, My Bets, Coach Report, Auto-Pilot, Credits, Discussions, Help, and Profile. At the top of most screens is a Top Bar showing the screen title and your current credit (token) balance; clicking the balance takes you to the Credits screen. The brand logo at the top of the sidebar returns you to the Dashboard. A "Risk Disclaimer" link sits at the bottom of the sidebar, and a floating Help button (the Help Wizard) is available on every screen.
Screen by Screen
Screen: Dashboard
The Dashboard ("Real-time analysis and active positions") is your home screen after login. The "Opportunities for You" section lists highlighted markets where Odds Coach currently sees a notable gap between the market probability and the AI probability. Each opportunity card shows the market title, the two probabilities, the estimated edge, and a confidence label; clicking a card opens its Market Detail screen. Below or alongside it you can see your active positions at a glance. Use the Dashboard to scan quickly, then open any market for the full analysis before deciding anything.
Screen by Screen
Screen: Explore
Explore ("Browse and search live markets") is where you find markets yourself rather than waiting for them to be highlighted. The search box at the top ("Search markets, teams, events…") filters the list as you type. Each result is a market card summarising the market and AI probabilities, edge, and confidence. Click any card to open its Market Detail. Explore is the right screen when you already have a topic in mind and want to see how Odds Coach reads it.
Screen by Screen
Screen: Market Detail
Market Detail is the full analysis for a single market. "Back to Market Board" returns you to the previous list. The screen places the "Market" probability (what the crowd is pricing) next to the "AI Model" probability (Odds Coach's estimate), with an "AI MODEL ONLINE" indicator showing the analysis is live. The "Model Recommendation" section summarises the suggested view, the estimated edge, the confidence level, the risk notes describing what could break the thesis, and — when an edge is present — a recommended stake as a fraction of your bankroll. Read the risk notes before acting: they tell you what to watch and what would change the conclusion. Any decision to trade is made by you on the market itself; Odds Coach does not place the bet.
Screen by Screen
Screen: My Bets
My Bets ("Track your open and closed positions") is your portfolio. Positions are grouped under "Open positions by category" and a closed/history section. The table columns show the Market, your Position (side and size), the Avg Cost you entered at, and the Current price, along with profit/loss and estimated payout. Open positions are ones still live; closed positions are settled and become the input for post-mortems and your Coach Report. Use this screen to keep track of exposure across markets and to review how each position resolved.
Screen by Screen
Screen: Coach Report
The Coach Report is your long-term feedback screen. At the top is your "Overall Coach Score" — a single number reflecting the quality of your decision process rather than just profit and loss. Below it, performance visualisations summarise trends across your closed positions: how your process is trending, where you do well, and where recurring mistakes appear. Because good decisions can still lose to variance, the Coach Score deliberately rewards sound reasoning and discipline, so use it to judge whether your process is improving independently of any single win or loss.
Screen by Screen
Screen: Credits
The Credits screen ("One-time packs, monthly plans, auto top-up, and usage history") manages everything about your balance. "Current balance" shows your credits, and the note "Every simple search costs 1 credit" explains the spend rate. One-time packs let you buy a fixed number of credits with the Buy button on each pack. "Auto top-up" automatically buys more credits when your balance falls to a level you set with "Trigger at balance"; pick the pack, then use "Buy and enable". Once it is on, a Disable button turns it off. Top-ups charge whichever saved card is your Default, which you manage from Profile. Turning auto top-up off never affects a monthly subscription, and cancelling a subscription never affects auto top-up — they are independent, and the saved card is only removed once neither is using it. "Monthly plans" offers subscriptions (Pro and Auto-Pilot) with a Subscribe button; the plan you are already on is disabled. The "Ask AI" box ("Ask for market research…") runs an AI-powered search for 1 credit when you have a balance and a verified email. "Credit Usage" at the bottom is your full history of purchases and spends. Buying anything requires a verified email; if you have not verified one, checkout stays locked.
Screen by Screen
Screen: Profile
Profile is your account screen. "Profile details" such as name and email come from your login and are shown locked. The "Risk disclaimer" section shows your acceptance status with a "Review disclaimer" link to read it again. "Token Balance" mirrors your current credits. If you have a monthly subscription, a "Subscription" card shows the plan, the monthly price, the day it renews, and a "Cancel subscription" button. Below it, "Payment methods" lists every card you have saved — brand and last 4 digits only, never the full number — with the Default marked, plus "Add payment method", "Make default" and "Remove". If a renewal charge has failed, the card is marked "Payment failed" and explains what to do: add a card or make a different one your Default, and the next daily billing run retries automatically; the plan stays active in the meantime. "Polymarket Wallet Address" lets you save your wallet (the "0x…" field) so it is associated with your account. "Appearance" switches the app between dark and light themes. There is also a usage-data / session-recording consent control you can turn on or off at any time. Sensitive account fields are protected and can only be changed through secure flows, not edited directly.

Screen: Auto-Pilot
Auto-Pilot is the advisory action plan for the Auto-Pilot subscription tier. It never places a trade for you — it applies YOUR risk rules to markets Odds Coach has already analysed and hands you a ranked, pre-sized shortlist. In "Auto-Pilot settings" you set your bankroll, per-position stake cap, minimum edge, minimum confidence floor, which categories to include or exclude, a Kelly-fraction sizing style, a scan cadence (off / daily / twice daily), and an optional email digest. Once enabled, each scheduled scan writes suggestions to your "Action plan" — each shows the market, side, recommended stake, edge, and confidence, with three buttons: "Open on Polymarket" (deep link to place the trade yourself), "Track it" (logs it as a Position once you've actually placed it, feeding your Coach Report), and "Dismiss". Past suggestions and what you did with them appear under "History". A permanent banner on the screen states the policy plainly: Auto-Pilot recommends, you place every trade, and it never accesses your funds or wallet.

Screen: Discussions
Discussions & Feedback is the community board ("Share ideas, report bugs, review the app, or message the sysadmin privately"). Click "New post" to start a topic, choosing a category — feature request, bug report, general impression, or open discussion — and optionally a 1–5 star rating. You can also mark a post private so only the admin sees it, for a direct message to the sysadmin instead of a public topic. Public posts appear in the feed once approved and can be replied to in a thread; "My Submissions" shows your own posts and their review status. Posting is rate-limited per day to keep the board readable.

Screen: Help Center and the Help Wizard
The Help Center ("/help") is public and needs no login. It offers three sections: the User Guide (how each screen and feature works), the Blog (articles on strategy and responsible trading), and the FAQ (short answers to common questions). The floating Help button on every screen opens the Help Wizard, which answers questions using only published FAQ and Knowledge Base content. If the wizard cannot find a reliable answer, it does not guess — it records your question for an administrator to review, and if you leave an email address the approved answer can be sent back to you.
