What is Polymarket?

A simple explanation of prediction markets and how prices reflect crowd expectations.

Polymarket is a prediction market platform where people trade contracts tied to real-world events. A market price can be read like an implied probability: for example, a 62¢ price suggests the market is pricing about a 62% chance of that outcome. That does not mean the outcome is guaranteed. Prices move as new information appears, liquidity changes, and traders update their views. A price is a snapshot of what the crowd believes right now, and it can be wrong — which is exactly why comparing it against independent analysis can be useful. Odds Coach helps you read those probabilities more clearly before making your own decisions. It does not tell you that you should trade on Polymarket, and it is not affiliated with the platform. Its role is to help you understand what a market is really saying so that any decision you make is an informed one.
